I’m curious if I am enjoying life? More so if I  am allowing myself to enjoy life?

I secretly / not-so-secretly like chaos. I want to have fun and be all the things all at the same time (which is impossible). I’m truly always a little bit confused and lost, but just kind of keep rolling with life.

This felt important and the thesis to a new character development. I had to jot it done before I got distracted, while still knowing I’ll become too distracted to turn it into a full analysis, but it probably also doesn’t need to go past those five sentences.

Ya feel?

I was on the phone the other day with my momma 💕 I was boasting with good news for all of the potential the next week held. Finally! All of my hundreds of bad days, calls and mishaps were resulting in some good luck karma. I had secured the dream apartment, gotten a paycheck with a sum I haven’t seen in one ever before, had a few insanely serendipitous ‘right-place, right-time’ run-ins that are plot lines of movie magic and officially crossed off a major reoccurring theme in my life that for the first time in 4 years meant I was now free to practice a new story (to be honest the immediate autonomy scared the shit out of me).

‘Wow! Such good luck I’m having!’ I said in between hurried steps as I was bopping along the West Side Highway that late May evening.

‘No Maggie. It’s not luck, it’s your hard work paying off.’ She said in that all-knowing way. ‘Do you know how many people would have called it quits by now having gone through what you’ve gone through? You are a force of nature.’

Oooooohhhhhhhhhh.
